How to Jailbreak your iPod Touch
Jailbreaking your iPod Touch can have many benefits. From free games to cool customization tools. It’s also really easy to do! If you’d like to explore your iPod Touch to the max, choose one of the following methods of Jailbreaking.
-The WinPwn method requires a restore during the process, so make sure you have your songs and videos all backed up(This can be done through iTunes).
-The QuickPwn method requires you to be on a clean version of which ever version you are JailBreaking to.
Example: If you are Jailbreaking to 2.0.1, you must be on a clean version of 2.0.1. This is why QuickPwn does not require a restore.
-If you are Jailbreaking to 3.1.2, the Blackra1n method requires you to restore ONLY if you already had a jailbroken unit that needed to be updated to 3.1.2. If you are already on current generation firmware 3.1.2 then go straight to downloading Blackra1n. Blackra1n works on all generations, but 3rd generation requires a tethered jailbreak(need to plug up to computer to re-boot). To Jailbreak, go to: blackra1n.com. To download Blackra1n (click on Windows or Apple icon). Once downloaded, open the program(rightclick and press Run As Administrator), then click on "Make It Rain". Make sure you are connected to WiFi when you do this. Last step is to open up Blackra1n on your Ipod and install Cydia and then open Cydia.
